Upon graduating in 2017 from Maharishi International University with a major in Physiology and Health, Jordan continued to expand her interest in integrative medicine, bridging both Allopathic Medicine and Maharishi Ayurveda.

In 2018, she became a certified Associate Teacher of Transcendental Meditation (TM) through The David Lynch Foundation. In collaboration with The Chicago Crime Lab, The University of Chicago, and the Becoming A Man (BAM) non-profit organization, she helped implement the Quiet Time Program—a school-wide TM initiative—throughout Chicago’s private and public schools, from elementary to university levels. These programs emphasize the importance of sustaining a consciousness-based approach to health within American public education and highlight the value of cultural and cognitive diversity. The David Lynch Foundation has since expanded internationally, supporting children in environments affected by (C)PTSD.

At Maharishi International University (MIU), Jordan experienced an education deeply rooted in consciousness-based learning. The university’s structure integrates small class sizes, twice-daily meditation, yoga instruction, student-cultivated organic lacto-vegetarian meals, and access to integrative medical care for personal development. MIU’s program enabled in-depth study and research of multi-modality approaches to wellness, emphasizing the development of individual potential across all levels of growth. Its curriculum integrates preventive medicine, Ayurveda, Transcendental Meditation, yoga, nutrition, and research on total brain coherence (enhanced brain function).

Over the past decade, Jordan has continued to explore and refine a consciousness-based approach to health, completing her studies in Maharishi Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine in December 2020. She has gained extensive experience in holistic practices for self-development while maintaining a strong foundation in allopathic medical principles. Working within a diverse global community has allowed her to witness the profound impact of culturally informed, well-educated practitioners who approach healing with both scientific and spiritual awareness.

Jordan founded Painthealth as a platform to introduce a wide range of alternative and science-based approaches for addressing imbalances that affect performance, interpersonal growth, and the creative exploration of self-discovery.
